Hi everyone!

So now it's about the middle of the season and time to sum up a few things for this year so far. I played in 12 events and made the cut in 10 of them. My best finish was a tie for 14th.

On the one hand, I am very happy with my progress, but there are also a few things that now need some improvement: my course management and my scoring. I think that recently I have been playing really good golf, but simply did not score as well as I could have (every golfer is probably thinking this way!). A lot of that has to do with some of the decisions I make during the round that cost me some bogeys, which cancel out some of my birdies. But I'm gaining more experience and I know what I need to improve.

Other than that, I am very excited to be going home to Germany in two weeks. Can you imagine. I haven't been home for almost a year! I just can't wait! One week during my home trip I will be playing the British Open, which is one of my dream tournaments. I actually just played a practice round with Sherri Steinhauer, who won the British Open three times in her career, which is so cool! I always loved the British Opens as an amateur event, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the "professional" Open even more.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about the Wilhelmina 7, which I promised last time. We are a group of seven girls, who all signed with the Wilhelmina agency. The seven are Minea Blomqvist, Anna Grzebien, Mikaela Parmlid, Stacy Prammanasudh, Johanna Head, Kim Hall and myself. We are going to promote women's golf and show that it also has a feminine side. Endorsements that range from inside the sport to outside areas such as fashion and entertainment are going to be a part of it, but also our commitment to the game, which will always be number one on our priority list.

Alright, I'm gonna go study a little bit, since I have been procrastinating..one month left to finish my class!!! Oh by the way, your guys' 4th of July celebrations are awesome!

Talk to you soon!

Sandra
